Smile Elections Perspective

DaasHakohol interviewed a senior member of the community about his perspective on Elections.
Advice from a Senior Member of Anash:

It's surprising that anyone can still be confused about their perspective on elections:

1) Elections are long overdue. It's the Law and it's the Halacha and there is no denying it.

2)Even if elections were not overdue, everyone understands that you can't have a twice convicted felon, now serving a 16 month sentence, that he should continue to be the controlling Vaad Hakohol, just because he is someones personal "Yes Man".

Yet it seems there are rumors that there is ONE single Rav as a Daas Yachid, who uses the stationary of a so called “Badatz” in an attempt to keep this twice convicted federal felon, empowered forever without any elections, EVER again and corruptly ruining our entire community, forever, R.L.!

SHOCKING, to say the least!

Surprisingly, if you read his letter he makes it very clear (Hodoas Baal Din Kemeah Edim Dami) that his entire reasoning, why he wants to deny an entire Kehila of their rights to vote is only because he is personally a Nogeah Bedavar where he fears for his personal gain or loss!

See his letter here: http://www.daashakohol.com/Photos/HodoasaBalDin.jpg
(The Pesak, even if it were valid, which it is not, could only be binding to that individual who asked, since it's addressed to them and not directed at any one else ANYWAY)

But even a child knows that whenever a Rav is a Nogeah Bedavar his Psak is no Psak and totally invalid.

Anyone who hears this understands, that vested interests are always regarded as totally irrelevant in a democratic society, which exercises it’s right for democratic elections.

Naturally if his own incumbent “Yes Man” (Rubashkin, Now In Jail) who obviously has no chance to get elected since he is in Jail, will be ousted, understandably it’s in this Ravs best interest that this twice convicted felon should continue to run the CHJCC, as long as this rav tries to hold on to hopes that he can attempt to block elections in CH Leolam Vaaed, while Rubashkin will empower him and he will empower Rubashkin – One Hand Washes the Other – Hypocrisy and Corruption at an all time high.

Remember:

A) There is no Badataz in CH, for more than a decade!

So whom is he kidding?

Less than 3 is no "Badatz"!

B) We all understand that every Rav in CH is a Nogeah Bedavar in this election and so to begin with, it matters not, what he may want to pasken, since such psak din is invalidated even before he pasken. A Nogeah bedavar has no power to Pasken, as we all know.

Can you imagine if every plaintiff and every defendant will issue a so called “Psak Din” that he is himself, the only one who is right?????

Any such Psak din where a person is a litigant himself and he issues a so called “Psak Din” that only “he is right”, no one can take him seriously, obviously.

Don’t take my word for it.

THINK - THINK – THINK it through, yourself, independently and come to your own conclusions:

How to Think Independently?

Independent thinking is an ability that allows an individual to question information from an "authority".

Think for yourself.

People in a position of power often abuse their power and authority exploiting their position of power for their own vested interest.
  1. Step 1: Rank your experience, above authority. Taking into account what the authority figure is saying, determine how it relates to your own prior experience with him in CH. Remember the saying that "One Hand Washes the Other" so recognize the authority's motivation. "Someone" may receive more funding from his "Yes Man" if democratic elections are undermined and if a Convicted Convict, now in Jail remains empower forever without ever making elections, ever again
  2. Step 2:
Rely on your gut feeling. When something doesn't seem right, there probably is something not right about what what you are being told by the "authority". Investigate, what is their vested interest, to discover the truth.
  3. Step 3:
Watch out for generalities. The Rebbe insisted that any and every Rav who issues a Psak Din must issue the source in Shulchan Aruch "M'Heichan Dantuni" otherwise trust your gut feeling. You may very well be right if you suspect corruption or a skewed Psak because of the Ravs personal vested interest.
  4. Step 4: People who are a Nogeah Bedavar, who attempt to undermine the Rebbe's endorsed Democratic Elections, have a lot at stake in loosing all of their prior corrupt power and control, so expect them to fight like tigers to ruine everything for everyone. These so called "Authorities" may feel "self righteous" and that their skewed thinking is rational and valid despite everyone else is seeing right through them, that they are full of obvious flaws. Stay calm if the situation gets heated. You need your logical viewpoint to stay firm but calm.
  5. Step 5: Expect the corrupt "authorities" who seek to undermine elections, to come out with some sudden surprises on Election Day to try and confuse you with some new last minute, newly concocted "Psak Din", to try and stop elections the last second in hopes of confusing you on Election Day. Collect all the facts before making a judgment on a circumstance. Gaps of information make it hard to make a sound decision. Look at all perspectives. Be in the other person's shoes is a common way of discovering true motive or reasoning behind the so called "authorities" stance.
  6. Step 6: Why argue in a heated debate with people who obviously have a vested interest to undermine elections? Let them be right. Recognize that these so called "authorities" speak from their skewed perspective, HASHOCHAD YEAVER and so they rationalize all their so called "Piskey Dinim" while they convince themselves that it's all right for them to perpetrate the opposite of Tzedek Veyosher, against the entire Kehila of CH to undermine democratic elections.
  7. Step 7: Be heroic. Take a stand and say you don't agree. Practice, thinking independently.
